What does it look like?

A tall flower, Snapdragons are made up of multiple small buds attached to one stem. The interesting name comes from the flowers appearance when squeezed together, as it’s bloom resembles a dragon opening and closing its mouth. Snapdragons come in almost every colour except blue.

When can you buy them?

In New Zealand, Snapdragons are available almost all year round but volumes are higher in the summer months.

Where can you buy them from?

Most NZ Florists and flower retailers.

How do you look after them?

As with any fresh cut flower: Remove all the foliage below the water level. Cut the stems on a slant with scissors and place them in a clean vase with fresh water and flower food.
